Hello, gelato enthusiasts! I'm Rhett Butler, also known as Chef Gelato Bae, the proud owner of Jolie Gelato. We're excited to share the highlights of our first-ever ice cream social event, DRIP SOCIAL, which took place on June 30th. This event was a vibrant blend of art, plant-based gelato, delightful pairings, and fantastic vibes.

Culinary Delights

Our guests enjoyed a variety of plant-based gelato and sorbet flavors, each crafted with love and care. From our viginal products to our alcohol and champagne infused products, the attendees fell in love with Jolie. The flavors were perfectly paired with beer and wine selections by The Wine Key Experience, enhancing the tasting experience. We also featured a custom cocktail named Extra Pulp, mixed by Terrance Blowe, a refreshing blend that quickly became a crowd favorite. Each sip and bite offered a unique journey of flavors, making the evening unforgettable.

Visual Feast of Artistic Fusion

DRIP SOCIAL was more than just an ice cream social—it was an immersive experience that combined art and culinary delights. The event was co-curated by myself, Chef Gelato Bae, and the talented artist Sherriness. One of the standout art pieces was a traditional boxing heavy bag adorned with red roses, symbolizing strength and beauty. Sherriness’s vision brought a unique touch to the space, making it a true visual feast.

She took images from our foundational Jolie Gelato photo shoot and transformed them into an art gallery level exhibit. This truly rounded out the experience for the attendees.

The walls of the venue were adorned with stunning images from Jolie Gelato photoshoots, captured by the talented photographers Marvin Joseph and Cherie Burns of Lady Boss Stylez. These visuals not only highlighted our gelato but also brought an artistic flair to the space. The photoshoots showcased the creativity and passion behind Jolie Gelato, creating an engaging and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Musical Vibes

To top it all off, our DJ Weezy of 96.3 FM set the perfect mood with an eclectic mix of tunes, ranging from world music to 90’s Rhythm & Blues and House music. The music added to the vibrant atmosphere, ensuring everyone was dancing and enjoying the evening.

A Community Experience

DRIP SOCIAL was a celebration of creativity, community, and the love of plant-based gelato. The event brought together people from different walks of life, united by their appreciation for art and delicious desserts. We are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a memorable success.
